Drunk and Incapable. — In the Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday, Johu Campbell and John Mitchell were charged with this offence, and fined 5s each and costs, Commission upon Fisheeies. — In the General Government Gazette of 15th ult., it is notified that the Governor has, in accordance with a resolution of the House of Representatives, appointed a commission to enquire into, and report upon the fisheries of New Zealand. The members of the Commission for the provinces of Nelson and Marlborough are, F. Huddleston and C. L, Maclean, Esqs., and the Hon. A. P. Seymour, M.L.C., and C. W. A. T. Kenny, Esq., M.G.A. Cricket. — A match was. played at Motueka on Monday last, between eleven residents in that place, and an eleven from Wakapuaka, which terminated in favor of the latter, who won with six wickets to go down. There was one solitary bid of 10s., which was not accepted .the wreck being bought in at £1.
