Fortunately for the inhabitants of Nel* . son, the Nathan Troupe have not yet been able to leave this town, there will therefore be another opportunity to-nighfc of seeing the charming little Marion perform, which she is advertised to do in threo different pieces. Miss Selina Nathan and Mr Small are also to take prominent parts]; we may therefore expect a delightful evening's entertainment. Yesterday was the day appointed for the closing of the entries for the Great Waimea South Stakes, one of the races at the forthcoming Wakefield Steeplechase Meeting, but as the Egmont, which is expected from the South to-morrow-, has not yet arrived, and the . stewards are of opinion that all entries bearing the postmark of a date previous to the llth inst. will be valid, the nominations already received will not be published uutil Monday.
