The Regatta, which took place yesterday afforded considerable amusement to those of our population who take an interest in aquatic sports. The weather wns perfect, a beautiful breeze which sprang up about eleven o'clock* being t-M that couid be desired by the owners of the competing sailing vessels, while it was not sufficient to make the water unpleasantly rough for the rowing boats, canoes, and catamarans.
