The gas escaped, a cry of fire was raised, which caused a rush to the doors the staircase gave way, 25 persons were killed, and 11 injured. A public meeting wa3 held at Vieuna condemning the exclusion of Austria from Germauy, and protesting against the solution of the German question. An insurrection is feared will take plaee at Cadiz, for the purpose of placing Dou Juan, eldest son of Gen. Cabrera (?) on the throne of Spain. The six Cardiuals appoiuted at a consistory at Rome, are Merode, Chigi, Talbot, Randi, Ferrano, Sagretti. The number of French soldiers arriving at Civita Vecchia exceeds those removed. The Pope's health is good.
