WEBB WRITES.
Writing from Christchurch last weekend, Mr. P. C. Webb states that at Timaru men came to him after the strike settlement stating they had always opposed the Federation, but had now to confess the Federation was the host organisation in New Zealand. "I have had good meetings here among the metal workers, railway workers, and factory workers. It is simply surprising tho way the. Federation is gaining ground everywhere."
