DEATH OF MR. ABBOTT.
The death occurred at Dalefield on December 11 of Mr. E. W. Abbott, formerly secretary of the Shearers' Union. Deceased was 33 years of age, and leaves a widow but no family. W« proffer our heartfelt condolences to the widow and relatives. The deceased was one of the enthusiasts—one who did much for the shearers and was prominent in the establishment of this paper.
