SHEARERS' ACCOMMODATION.

During tha last'week or two supporters of Massey have dinned it into my ears that the Shearers' Accommodation Act has been amended, and that we noff have 360 cubic feet of air space in lieu of 240 ft. as-previously.

I did not go into raptures over the news, as it is not the Act so much as the administration of same which is at fault.

I make this statement without fear of contradiction, viz.: I can 40 to 20 places in one day in any settled portion of New Zealand and prove that the accommodation is not in compliance with the provisions of the Shearers and Agricultural Laberers' Accommodation Act.

Will some Masseyite deny this and inform mc why it is allowed to continue. There is a law, and au employer can break it with imounitv. and what can we do?
