A* meeting of the Wellington. side Workers' Union was' Ireld. in tn_ wharf waiting room last week, xuo secretary- (Mr. G. G. Farland) reports 450 nren present, also that Mr. Seniplo" addressed the meeting oath.* Waihr dispuiP, and ihe following motion was carried unanimously:—"That this*meeting of waterside workers n-.ove, with all sincerity, a hearty: vote' of confidence in their organiser, RoWrt Semple, and that we admire the Militant attitude adopted by.him in fighting the battle of class warfare, existing today in our midst, against the despots of capitalism, who are trying to crush out of existence the Federation of Lafror, the executive of which body we are pledged to support to tbe bitter end. and- which body we, as a body of ..workers, have legally and' duly elected 1 fo act as our honored representatives in any industrial dispute that may arise between th« workers and th. employing class."
