PETONE WITH THE STRIKERS.

On Friday evening members of tho F.L. executive journeyed to Petone, arid although it was raining heavily, addressed a meeting of some hundreds. Canham presided and vigorous speeches were given by Fraser ajid Sdmpte. Thft following resolution was carried: "That this meeting of Petone residents deprecates the act of the Government in jailing the Waihi strikers, who had committed no crime, and demands their release."
