For the time .being we find ourselves Compelled to hold over letters and general contributions.
Those who send "copy" to us must understand that it is impossible to advise upon an<! immediately return manuscript submitted.
The publication or correspondence or general contributions is determined by events.
Space, duties, pressure in office, and other circumstances require that we must choose our own time for considering or publishing articles or letters— and if some do not appear it must be taken that they are unsuitable or unusable.
We are not able to say offhand whether or not anything sent for publication will appear.
Just now the stnff wanted is brief news and views from localities as to strike, lock-out, the Federation and its foes.
