Combined Social and Dance. Tho combined Labor unions of Masterlon, comprising the shearers, freezing workers, slaughtermen, bakers, plumbers, carpenters and joiners, drivers, coach-builders and tailors, field a most enjoyable social and dance on Thursday evening, May Hi, over 100 couples being present. The gathering was a success from evry point of view, and now that the first social has turned out so satisfactorily it is to be hoped that more will follow. As Mr. ''lted" McUae said, members of the Unions "want their say and they want their dances and sports." An excellent concert programme was arranged, the items l v -ing with tin' dances. MissToohill.
