BERGER'S ACTIVITIES.
Victor L. Berger, Socialist Congressman from Milwaukee, introduced a bill in the American Congress providing for government ownership of railroads and cf telegraph, telephone, and express companies engaged in interstate commerce. " The bill provides for enforced condemnation of the properties, the Government to pay for the corporation securities in Government bonds. Another provision in the bill provides a new United States department of transportation.
