ENGINEDRIVERS' ASSOCIATION.
Delegates representing tho various brandies of the Enginedrivers' Association, opened a conference in Wellington on February 21. Mr. T. M. Milligan presided. The delegates wero: Messrs. E. McConnell, F. Ellis, secretary (Canterbury), J. Donaldson (Timam), T. Cain (Auckland), J. O'Brien (Westland), C. Foster, J. G. Purvos (Wellington), J. Berry (Napier). Matters of importance to the enginedrivers wero brought up for consideration. An endeavor will be mado to obtain amendments to tlio Inspection of Machinery Act. The question of wages and awards in different parts of the Dominion waa also discussed.
