Of the jewellers 47 per coiit. exceed lhat income; boot and shoe workers, 42 per cent.; foundry avid machinists, 32 per cent.; papermakers, 18 per cent.; furniture hands, 17 per cent.; leather milkers, 16 per cent. AH but those percentages earn loss than. 2.50 dollars a day, or less than 730 dollars a year. And those are skilled trades.
