SOUTHLAND SAWMILL WORKERS' UNION.

AVo arc in receipt of a copy of the Southland Sawmill Workers , Union report for 1911. The Union is in a sound financial position, this being a record financially for the 11 years of its existence. During the year 100 new members were enrolled and £475 7s. 9d. has been collected in subscriptions. The total assets o( the Union' are £.513 19s. 2d. In addition to that amount a largo sum has been collected in contributions since the books have been closed. Alogether the Union is to be congratulated upon its sound position. .Special votes of thanks were passed to the energetic organiser, T. J. O'rSyrne and President Ailsweiler.
