President Mover, of . the Western Federation of Miners, U.S.A., delivered a lengthy address before- the convention of tho Colorado Federation of Labor in which he expressed dissatisfaction Avith the policies of President Gornpers of the American Federation of Labor, and throAV down the gauntlet tortile steel trust. Mover declared his intention of attacking Gornpers'' policies at the next convention of the American Federation of Labor at Alanta. "I am planning to launch an industrial department in tho American Federation," he said. "In addition to the Western Federation of Miners, I havo the support of the longshoremen and seamen.

"With their aid avo propose to say to the steel trust, 'Nut one pound of steel will be loaded aboard ship until you deal fairly with the miners.' "
