MILLS' LECTURE.
Sir, —Y<nir correspondent "Clarion Scout," lias raised my Cymric blood by tho way lie has attempted to belittle Professor Mills. I attended the lecture he alludes to, and must say I never heard a more" clear and concise definition of Socialism in my life. The party at the present time appease to mc to be full of unborn orators, which pauses, them to view with stunted visions and petty jealous dispositions those who are competent to do something for the cause. For the good of Socialism I think it's time this was dropped, and that we welcomed anyone with the ability and reputation of Mills. There iSj .in my opinion, only one "ism" worth consideration — that is, Socialism ,PURE_and unadulterated. Every other "ism" is not worth defending or deriding. Let us therefore work wholeheartedly for our glorioxis cause, and bo done with petty bickerings and, spite. Lyall Bay, , . . CYMRO.
