OIL LEASEHOLDS .
Dear Worker, —Would it be possible through your columns to get some idea of the extent of country leased, and the general conditions attached to leaseholds granted to the different oil companies m New Zealand ? I think this a most important matter to us considering the possibilities of oil as a fuel in the future. Have we any readers
in the oil districts who could give us some information? A full inquiry into and exposure of Government methods in this business should be undertaken at once. Hoping some comrade may bo able to fully enlighten us on this question.—Yours, etc., Waiuta. E.R.G.
