Sir, —On page 10 of your issue of May 5 you inserted the Government's ukase relating to military training. In a par on page 11 you refer to the penalties which will be imposed on those who fail to register as required. On page 9, under "In Our Opinion," we have it that militarism is a curse. How do you reconcile the one with the other ? I should like to sco a paper which is avoAvedly opposed to militarism flatly decline to insert Government advts. bearing on the matter.
