Davey Jones,, the organiser for the Farmers' Political Party, is doing good work for the Labor movement. Mo is making the people think, and that is all that is required. For when the people interest themselves in the welfare of the country, sweating and exploiting (of which D. Jones is an advocate) will soon be abolished. As threshing is now over, there aro many idle and a lot more ill-paid men in this district than would ,be imagined by those who tako their lessons from the Capitalistic press. Another effort is being made to organise the farm laborers, and to secure an award from the Court, and all /unionists aro called on to give moral aid in the coining battle with the "back-bone."
A married man Avith three or four children finds it a battle to eke out an existence under the existing conditions hero. The "M.W." is, and Avill bo, a Avclcomo messenger, and is highly appreciated by the workers and others here.
