I want everybody to read Mr. Tregear's speech on page 13, because in its "altogether" it is a speech for Socialism. Unlike most of the apologists for arbitration and nalliatives, Mr. Tregear favours such_ as speeding iis io emancipation. His difference with this paper is a tactical one at botand not one of root principle. Legitimate enough is this position, and one upheld by many Socialists of celebrity. Therefore, read the speech, o.iid theaa agree with mc that it is its own refutation of its case for arbitration. Also read our "leader," and talk about it and your paper. * -55- * This paper can be materially helped by its friends getting subscriptions for it.
