PARENTS’ AFTERNOON The staff of the Roxburgh District High School will be glad of the presence of the parents and friends of the school at a parents’ afternoon to be held at the school on Friday next, October 28, commencing at 2 pan. The programme will be inspection of work in both departments, display of infant games, display of physical drill by combined departments. Programme of musical and elocutionary items as under: —Songs by infants; recitation, Shirley Hobbs; short talk, Rosaleen Waigth; songs, Std. HI, IV, Forms I, Form 11; recitation, Ivan Hobbs; songs, secondary department; four short talks, Rae Graham, June McPherson, Cliff. Bennetts, Louis Sandes. Afternoon tea will be provided, if weather is fine, in school grounds, baskets being welcome.
