TEVIOT ANGLING CLUB

The above club held its second competition at Butcher's Gully Dam on Sunday last under ideal conditions. Although the total number of fish obtained was not very great, their condition was the best our sportsmen have had for some considerable time; the rainbow in particular could not have been in better condition. The winners of this competition were: J. Cook, 4 fish, 6£lbs, 1; B. Tubman, 5 fish, 5 Jibs, 2. The heaviest fish went to J. Cook also with a very nice 31b rainbow. Local lagoons at present are offeringvery good sport and anglers are enjoying catching the fine 'Class of fish in them.
