LAND BOARD.
At the meeting of the Land Board on Wednesday, the following items of local interest were dealt with :—The District Land Officer at Clyde reported on the application by Joseph Tamblyn to purchase eight acres in bleck 2, Teviot, recommending that the same be granted.— Approved of. The application of John Martin to purchase four acres in block 2, Teviot, was also agreed to. The application of; Patrick M'Gittigaa i to purchase, under exchange lease, sections 20, 48, 47, and 51, block 1, Cairn Hill district, was approved of.
