Air Corps Dance

For the purpose of acquiring educational and sporting equipment, the Pahiatua Squadron, of the Air Training Corps staged their first dance on Friday night. The public support accorded the function was far greater than was anticipated. The ball was crowded and thoso present were unanimous in voting the dance a most enjoyable Affair. Sergeant H. 11. Simmonds and Cadet J. Reid were M.C. 's, and Airs. Tait ami orchestra provided the music. Extras were played by Miss Aureen Jones, Air. Pete Jackson and a serviceman. The squadron is indebted to parents of the cadets who rendered valuable assistance in the supper room. The funds of the squadron will benefit materially.
