Didn’t Enjoy Good Health In His 113th Year!
(Per Press Association.) TIMARU, March 17. Mr. Patrick Lucas Hamilton, who resides near Pleasant Point, 12 miles from Timaru, to-day celebrated what he claims is his 114th birthday. Mr. Hamilton was bom in County Donegal, Ireland, on St. Patrick’s Day, 1830, when William the Fourth was on the throne, so he has lived through the reigns of six sovereigns. Mr. Hamilton has been bedridden for the last five years and during the last 12 months has not enjoyed good health.
