Another Day Lost in Two Coalmines
(Per Press Association.) * INVERCARGILL, Afarch If. Stopwork meetings were held at tho Linton and Birehweod mines at Ohai this morning and after the meetings had lasted four hours the men went, home. Both mines were idle all d&v. It is stated that the dispute at the Linton mine was due to two truckers eligible to place on the coal not being able to find experienced mates with whom to work. Under the regulations the company was therefore unable to give them places on the coal. . i
