Lovell, who has been manager of the City Council showroom for the past i four and a half years, has accepted a secretarial post in Auckland and leaves for tnat centre after Easter. Mrs. Lovell has made a host of friends in Palmerston North and will be missed in many circles, particularly the Repertory and Little Theatre Societies, in which she has given notable assistance in both the acting and production sides. Mrs. Lovell Is also a keen member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club, and is at present a member of the Dominion Council. She has given her support to all patriotic activities and is a useful member of the A.N.A. Club Committee, serving regularly as a hostess.
