Labour Defeat in Dunedin Licensing Elections

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 11. Interest was imparted to the Licensing Committee elections in Dunedin by the nomination of a full Labour ticket in opposition to the sitting members. On both the city and Dunedin South. Committees the venture was unattended by success. In the case of the Dunedin Committee the four sitting members were returned and in the place of one member who retired the candidate nominated by the Citizen •’ Association was elected. The present members of the Dunedin South Committee were reelected. '
