Marshalls and Carolines Again Bombed
Received Sunday, 10.50 p.m. WASHINGTON, March 12. Liberators bombed Ponape and Kusaie in tbe Carolines, says a Pacific Fleet communique. Explosions and fires were observed in the ground installations at Ponape and waterfront facilities were hit at Kusaie. Army and Marine aircraft attacked two enemy bases in the Eastern Marshalls. Venturas bombed a third base. All the planes returned.
