Ninth Birthday of Quadruplets
Ihe ninth anniversary of the birth of the Johnson quadruplets in Dunedin on March C, 1935, was celebrated at the home of their parents, 18 High Street, Timaru, on Monday. Greetings were received from Australia, England, and various parts of New Zealand. Three of the quadruplets—Bruce, Kathleen and Mary—are in excellent health, but for some months the health of the fourth, Vera, has caused concern. The three first-mentioned children are uow in Standard 111 at South School, Timaru. The heights of the four children are: Kathleen, 4ft. Sin..; Mary, 4ft. 71 in.; Bruce, 4ft. Gin.; and Vera, 4ft. llin. A moving picture of the quadruplets was taken some time ago by the Government film unit, and many soldiers in the Middle East and other spheres of action have since written to say they have seen the film. A letter has also boon received from the children’s grandmother in England saying that she had seen the picture.
