Evacuation of Belgian Coast
Received Tuesday, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, March 7. The Germans have ordered part of the population of Ostend to move inland, says the Times’ Belgian corre spondent. This evacuation must he ■ completed hy March 11. A court- ■ martial will try those refusing to leave. ■ Much of the Belgian coast has already ; been evacuated. Thousands of refugees - have arrived in the Brussels area and ; the valley of the Meuse. The German decision was taken suddenly about the • middle of February.
