Received Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, March 4. Tests recently conducted on 3361 school children of Bath, support the theory long held by eugenics experts that children conceived in winter are more intelligent than those conceived in summer. The British Medical Journal published the results of the tests which were carried out by Sur-geon-Commander J. A. Fraser Roberts, R.N.V.R. Roberts also concludes that there is a tendency for children of more intelligent parents to be conceived more often in winter and those of less intelligent parents slightly more often in summer. Intelligence tests showed similar results to those obtained by the New Zealander, Dr. A. B. Fitt.
