Friends of Mrs- R. W. Belflt, Feather - ston Street, will be pleased to learn that she is progressing favourably after undergoing a serious operation in a private hospital. Miss Elsie Bennet, general secretary of the Auckland Y.W.C.A., who is visiting the city to direct the campaign to raise £2OOO for the Palmerston North Association, wears a neat uniform of jacket and skirt of deep saxe blue with green blouse and shoulder flashes, navy hat and shoes. She told the “Times” this uniform had been adopted by tne Auckland and Whangarei secretaries.
