Obituary

MR ALBERT ADSETT. The funeral took place on Sunday last of the late Albert Adsett, a widely known and respected resident of the Feilding district. The late Mr Adsett was In the early days associated with the saw-milling industry in this district until he later took up farming at Aorangi, where he was still residing at the time of his death which occurred last week. The service at the residence and cemetery was conducted by Archdeacon F. H. Petrie. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Verne and Henry Adsett (sons), Ray Adsett, Stewart Borrie (Grandsons), R. H. Ross and R. S. Hogg (sons-in-law). Besides his family he is survived by two sisters Miss Louisa Adsett, Warwick Street, Feilding and Mrs W. D. Williamson, Reid’s Line, Feilding and one brother Walter who resides at Colyton. Among many beautiful floral tributes received was one from the Taumaranui Cricket Club and one from the Wellington Meat Coy and staff.
