Junior National Party

In the past the Junior National Party has greatly assisted the National Party in most of their activities. Although this young organisation has only been in progress for about three years, Mis 3 B. Farraher (founder and first secretary of the club) deserved credit for its success. The club has lost many members who are now fighting for our King and country, so the committee decided to go into recess for the duration of the war, but Miss Farraher h|Os again struck out for the party. The actual commencement of party evenings depends on the roll number. When members are sufficient, the committee will organise hiking pa»*~-s, table tennis, dances the big monthly dance), tennis, swimming and many little functions. CHEERFUL FOLK ARE Ever welcome guests Popularity is a wonderful asset and mostly enjoyed by those who possess a happy and cheerful personality. It is folk of this nature that are welcome wherever they go, while those who are “grouchy” and what is commonly known as a “wet blanket” are not looked forward to by their hosts. In the case of the latter type they really are often a subject for pity as the state of their health is frequently responsible for lack of cheerfulness. In many instances their liver is sluggish and perhaps they are constipated. In such cases, a dose, or preferably a course of Dr. Morse’s Indian Root Pills is recommended. They make you feel brighter.
