Outstanding Success of Big Raid on Saarbrucken

Received Thursday, 1 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 1. The R.A.F. made a neavy and concentrated attack on Saarbrucken last night. The raid was an outstanding success, the weather was good and the targets were ciearly seen. Only three of our planes are missing. This is the third raid in a fortnight on Saarbrucken which is one of Germany’s most important coal and steel centres.
