LONDON, Aug. 30. The Rome radio says one transport alone landed *SOO men at Gioraltar anu added that K.A.F. planes throughout the day were flying over Gibraltar. Coastal defence exercises were being carried out and large bodies of troop., were practising landings. The Vichy radio quoted an Algecira;. report to the effect that several Briti?a transports had arrived at Gibraltar ana landed 3000 garrison reinforcements. Vichy also reported that Admiral Estcva, commander of the French forces in Tunis, had arrived in Vichy and conferred with Marshal Potain and Laval. The Vichy News Agency stated that a British convoy, comprising 25 merchant men, left Gibraltar, sailing in the direr tion of the Atlantic.
