Percy P. Stevens reports yesterday’s auction mart realisations to be as follows:—Poultry, hens 3s 6d to 5s 7d, pullets 6s 9d to 7s 3d; cockerels os to 5s 3d; ducks 3s 9d to 4s 2d; Pigs, weaners £1 10s to £1 14s 6d; small slips £3 14s, heavy porkers £3 6s.
Reporting on Eczema At a meeting of the executive of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Federation in Hamilton it was decided to a®k the Government to see that the inspectors at the freezing works report signs of eczema in sheep direct to the Department of Agriculture, and that the owners of the affected sheep be advised.
