New Quakes and Roods Smite Turkey
SPREADING TERROR IN ANATOLIA ANKARA, Jan. 3. A new earthquake to-day reduced to shambles ten villages in the Yozgat area. Hundreds of buildings collapsed, and thousands of people were rendered homeless. The River Euphrates has burst its banks, spreading terror in Southern Anatolia. The roaring waters are sweeping houses, cattle, and whole villages into Syria.
