Good speech is essentially good thinking; in fact, speech many times has been designated as the explicit, und thought as the implicit, manifectation of the same process. However, since speech is a social technique, its improvement not only involves the improvement of the intellectual but also of the emo- , tioual, evaluational, and physiological sides of man; in short, an improvement of total personality. . . .
