Athletic and Cycling Club Committee Meets * ARRANGEMENTS FINALISED AND OFFICIALS APPOINTED A meeting of the committee of the Woodville Amateur Athletic and . Cycling Club was held on Wednesday evening for the purposo of finalising arrangements and appointing officials j for the club’s forthcoming day sports meeting. There was a good attendance, over which the president, Air. E. J. Harding, presided. It was decided to make formal application for the use of the Recreation Ground for the day sports gathering, and to engage Air. Pryde ’& amplifying system for the occasion. Officials for tho meeting were appointed as follows: —Judges, Messrs. J. T. Horne, E. Beale, F. D. Mackie, J . Me Kin Jay and It. R. Johnston; starter, Air. E. J. Harding; referee, Mr. J. Sullivan; flag stewards, Messrs. H. C. Nicholls, W. Adams; marksmen, R. Christensen, R. Nelson, A. T. talker; timekeepers, B. Goodman and J. Sullivan; gatekeepers, R. Paddy and H. ! Pilcher; lap steward, N. K. Chapman; announcer, K. Mitchell. | The arrangements for the dance after the sports tfc’ere also discussed and the ' question of music for this function was ! left in the hands of Messrs. E. Beale and N. K. Chapman.
