Aliss L. Richards, McLean Street, who has been on Air. A. A. Walker’s staff in Woodville for the past threo years, leaves at the end of the week to take up a position in Pahiatua. Mr. and Mrs. Reg Lawrence, of Petone, arc visiting tho former’s mother, Airs. Kappoly, North Street. Mr. Lawrence was formerly a member of the staff of tho Woodville Examiner. Mr. and Mrs. Walker, of Hamilton, are the guests of Mr. and Airs. D. McGregor, “Makauri,” Papatawa. Air. Walker, a keen bowler, won the skips’ section in the progressive pairs tourney on tho local green on Tuesday.
