Spy Who Drew Pay From Both Sides
MORAVIAN BARON GAOLED IN SWITZERLAND Received Wednesday, 8.25 p.m. ZURICH, Jan. 3. A Moravian baron was sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment for allegedly being employed by both the British and German Intelligence Services. The police said anonymous money orders arrived for the baron from both Berlin and London. A horse dealer was sentenced to seven months’ imprisonment. According to tho evidence ho worked for the French Secret Service in co-operation with the baron but had no knowledge of the baron’s other connections. The police did not disclose the names of the prisoners.
