Weather Was Drier in 1939 Than in 1938 JULY WETTEST MONTH LAST YEAR It would appear from the rainfall figures as recorded by Mr. J. C. For the month of December, 1938, Mr. Bolton recorded 9.24 inches, which was considerably more than for the same month last year. It is also of interest to note that the average rainfall per annum in Woodville is approximately 45 inches, thus the last two years' rainfall have been above average.
