'■> “The week after?” j “.I have said I don’t know.” * "Perhaps the week after that?” “Perhaps.” “Who do you think will win?” “We will, of course.” “Why, of course?” “Because we always do." “Always?” “Well, nearly always.” “Does that prove we’re going lo wvi ;his time?” “Not exactly, but we are.” “How do you know?” “Well, I read the papers.” “Do they know all about it?” “Yes.” “Well, why can’t they say when it vill end?” “Because that is a very difficult juestion to answer.” “But you said they knew all about it.” “Shall we change the subject?” “What shall we do with Hitler when vt catch him?” “I don’t know.” “Boil him alive?” “I don’t think so.” “Strangle him?” “Very unlikely.” “What about tying him to the profiler of an aeroplane and then going nto a power dive?” “I have no opinion to offer.” “Or they might tie him to a barrage Jalloon and shoot him down from SpitIres.” “They might."
