Weld Street and Ivimbolton Road junction and at the flourmill; cut the blackberry runners off the footpath between Weld Street and the railway crossing, and other places. Put a stop to dogs polluting the footpaths, particularly in the shopping area. Compel the shopkeepers to hose the footpath instead of sweeping and stirring up the dust to blow over pedestrians and on to food in the shops.—l am, etc., “OBSERVER.”
