The Slovakian Propaganda Minister (Dr. Mach) declared that the construction of an authoritarian regimo would be Slovakia’s principal task for 1940, to bo accomplished iD conjunction with the final settlement of the Jewish question. The Foreign Minister (M. Durcansky) pledged Slovakia to throw her whole weight on the side of a new European settlement in which injustices would be removed. The German-Russian commercial and payments agreements of 1938 have been extended to the end of 1940.
