Two-year-old Stakes Will Be Run By Oamaru Club
Tho Oamaru Trotting Club has decided to institute a race for two-year-olds to be known as the Oamaru Juvenile Stakes. The first event will be staged at the May meeting in 1941. The prize is £SOO, of which the winner will receive £3OO, second £IOO, third £SO, and the breeder of tho winner will participate to the extent of £35, and the breeder of the second horse will receive £ls. The distance is one mile and a quarter.
