Chinese Claim Heavy Japanese Losses
United Press Association—-By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CHUNGKING, Dec. 27. Tho Chinese Government to-day announced that simultaneous Chinese attacks on all fronts had cost tho Japanese 100,000 casualties between December 1 and 25, including 43,800 killed. The Chinese spokesman stated that the major drive to disrupt Japanese communications had not yet started. He added that attacks on the Yangtse River during the year had resulted in an average loss of two Japanese ships a week.
